The Application Prompts to Save the Drawing1.dwg File After Checking in a Drawing

After closing and checking in a drawing in AutoCAD or an AutoCAD-based application, you may be prompted to save the drawing1.dwg file to ProjectWise. If this happens, simply cancel the dialog and do not save the file to ProjectWise.

If you want to avoid this behavior, you can edit the command-line argument of the corresponding ProjectWise application that is used to launch the application. The command-line argument of the ProjectWise application should match the command-line argument that is normally used to launch the application. You can find the command-line argument for each application by looking at the application’s shortcut on the desktop. As an example, the command-line argument of the AutoCAD MEP 2010 application in ProjectWise should be:

"C:\Program Files\AutoCAD MEP 2010\acad.exe" /ld "C:\Program Files\AutoCAD MEP 2010\AecBase.dbx"
